Thursday evenings are fast becoming one of our busiest and most vibrant, diverse and enjoyable gaming sessions of the week!
Not only are we seeing more and more Board Gamers attending our dedicated weekly Social (so many last night that we burst at the seams and onto tables in the wargaming area), but Thursday is also very often the day of choice for one or two RPG groups, TCG’ers and skirmishers/wargamers… and we love it!
Last night, alongside our lovely Board Gamers, we had a SHADOWRUN session in our private room, a friendly but fiercely fought game of BLOOD BOWL, a multitude of MORDHEIM fanatics doing a round-robin of battles, a WARHAMMER 40K Combat Patrol, and a table of four playing MAGIC: THE GATHERING.
The Board Gamers meanwhile welcomed no fewer than five newbies to their tables last night, integrating them all seamlessly. It was great to meet you Matt, Cobalt, Donna, Vish and Malu… and we look forward to gaming with you again soon. 
Around the tables there was a fine mix of games being enjoyed… lighter stuff (kudos and thanks to Simon for teaching some of these to our least experienced newbies), mid-weight and heavy, including…

Our next Social session is on Sunday from 12 noon, and we’d love to see you there! Anybody and everybody is welcome to join our lovely regulars, to share in the good times and great games. Even if you’ve only ever played a couple of board games before, there’s a place for you at our tables because everyone is willing to teach and/or learn together.

“in our private room” makes us sound more up ourselves than we are! We go where we are put. Reports that board gamers would be scared off by my in-character swearing at my fellow party members are all lies, I tell you!
